Stock Grade Expectations

A-stock cases are free of any cosmetic defects visible after the keyboard is fully assembled.

B-stock cases have small cosmetic defects that are difficult to see from a typical seating position, sometimes with defects only on the sides or bottom surface.

Scarlet brings highly requested features to an affordable TKL including a seamless exterior, USB-C daughterboard, hotswap PCB, winkeyless layout, top and gasket mount, and an exterior design free of any branding.

Modernized Design

A seamless aluminum enclosure featuring no branding, thin side bezels, and an optional winkeyless top case for a vintage aesthetic — fit to be the centerpiece of any workspace. And the centered USB-C daughterboard provides a symmetrical cable setup with quick and inexpensive repairs.

Dual Mounting System

Scarlet allows you to customize the way it feels and sounds by offering the two most popular mounting styles — top mount and gasket mount. It delivers a soft and comfortable typing experience, making the keyboard fade into the background so you can focus on creating your best work.

Gasket mount.

A silicone o-ring wraps around the plate and PCB, cushioning the keystrokes for a softer typing experience, and absorbing vibrations for a deep and quiet sound profile.

Top mount.

The switch plate is fastened to the top case with screws, delivering a distinct, tactile response. Compliment the typing experience with the optional aluminum plate add-on.

Multi-layout hotswap PCB.

Designing a quick, simple, and beginner-friendly assembly process was made possible with Kailh hotswap sockets without compromising on layout compatibility. One PCB supports both 6.25u and 7u spacebar, and double flex-slots provide a soft and cushioned typing experience when paired with a half-plate. All PCBs come with VIA Configurator compatible firmware installed out of the box.

Ultra-soft POM plate.

A matte black POM plate is included with each Scarlet kit, chosen for its deep, muted sound profile, and soft, flexible typing experience. An optional aluminum plate can be purchased for an enhanced tactile response while retaining the unique sound signature of your switches.
